Kaylin Burger
Artist & Founder
Her studio practice is grounded in observation and process, shaped by time spent in landscapes and places she has lived in and moved through. She is drawn to how space, distance, and subtle shifts in atmosphere influence the way a place is seen and remembered.
Her work develops slowly through looking, revisiting, and refinement, allowing forms to move between representation and abstraction. Rather than describing a specific location, she creates images that hold a sense of quiet familiarity and openness, offering viewers a moment of calm and reflection.
Northreach Studio was established as a framework for a process-driven studio practice. The name refers to distance, direction, and the act of looking outward, reflecting the quiet, spatial concerns that guide the work.
